Knitted Polyester: 3/8" width is the listed size but the actual width may be a little narrower or wider. This material is available in 12 standard colors.
The available material colors are displayed on the main order page. We do our best to provide PMS colors of each color. However, it is an estimate, not an exact match. Each roll of material may be slightly different. We do not guarantee a color match on material color. If you have concerns about this, we recommend you purchase a production proof that will allow you to see exactly what the product will look like.
Custom material colors are available for orders over 1000, but will take longer to produce (time varies), and are only available with the economy service production time.
Included in the base price is a single color, one side print that is a maximum height of 1/4" and a length of 9.5" which will be repeated end-to-end. Additional colors are available for an extra charge per lanyard, plus a setup charge for each color. Second side printing is also available.
We silk screen (screen print) your image on the material. The print will wear down over time; if that is a concern, our WeaveIn series of lanyards has a longer print lifetime.
There are 27 standard print colors, including a metallic gold color that costs double because of the production process. Custom colors are available for economy service orders of 1,000 or more. We do not guarantee a PMS color match, but we will try. If you have concerns about your color combination, we recommend you purchase a production proof, which will allow you to see exactly what the final product will look like.
Contrasting colors: Some color combinations can be challenging. If you have a dark blue lanyard and want to print a teal color… it will not contrast well, and it will be difficult to see the printing. We will do our best to put a human eye on each order and alert you to potential problems, but we are not responsible for color combinations not turning out the way you'd imagined.
In some cases we will recommend a base color. For example, a dark green lanyard with an orange print would benefit from a white base surrounding the orange print. Such a change will require an increase in price; we will contact you for approval.
You may choose from several hardware options for your lanyards.
A quick release is placed behind the neck to ease putting on and taking off the lanyard. For this product we offer the velcro release, the snap release and the flat release.
A buckle release is placed at the bottom of the lanyard in front, for easily detaching, fastener and all, your badge, keys, or anything else you've hooked to your lanyard. For this product we offer the standard buckle release.
A length adjustment slides up and down the lanyard. It can be slid behind the neck to move the fastener up and down on the chest, or slid to the front of the neck for snugness. A quick release is only useful together with a length adjustment if used the second way. For this product we offer the length adjustment bead and the length adjustment slider.
Standard production time is approximately business days, based on standard quantities. If your order is exceptionally large, some extra production time may be required.
Production time begins the day after we receive approval of your online layout proof(s). It takes approximately one working day for our art department to create your online layout proof.
These times are approximate! Sometimes, orders ship quicker... sometimes, orders ship slower. If you are wanting a guaranteed ship date, you MUST choose our Rush service, if available. We ship over 90% of our orders on-time... but if you need it by a certain day and you don't want to end up in that 10%, choose Rush service. Your online layout proof will tell you your current estimated ship date. Once you approve the online layout proof, the order cannot be cancelled.
Our Economy Service allows us to better manage our production queue and pass the savings on to you. If you aren't in a pressing need for your order, you can enjoy savings of 10% from this level of service. Your order will ship in approximately 4-5 weeks.
We won't be able to give you an exact ship date, but we will keep you posted on the progress of your order and e-mail you tracking information once it ships.
Our Rush Service is available for an additional 30% fee. We can have your order ready to ship in 15 working days (beginning the day after we receive your approval of our online layout proof, or the day after your order for non-customized items).
However, there are some important things to remember. First, exceptionally large orders may receive extended rush schedules. When you get your instant quote, you'll see an adjusted ship date that takes your quantity into account. Second, our production department must approve all rush orders, especially large orders. And finally, if you need your order by a certain date, expedited shipping is available, but you will be responsible for the additional costs. Please remember that there is no guaranteed delivery date for Ground shipments.
If we agree to a rush schedule, and then fail to ship within the alloted time, we cannot offer a full refund. However, we will gladly offer a huge discount.
An online layout proof is a digital mock-up of the final product that we create to show you how your artwork will look on the finished product. Once we post a proof, you can log in to your account, view it online, and approve production.
If your artwork is properly formatted, or you are ordering a text-only imprint without strict font requirements, we will have an online layout proof ready for your approval within one working day of placing your order (normally the same day).
If we have trouble with or questions about your artwork, the process will take longer, depending on your response times. It is imperative that you respond to e-mails from our artwork staff in a prompt fashion, especially if your order is on a tight schedule.
A production proof is an actual production sample of your order. Requesting a production proof is a great option if you're unsure whether you will be happy with the final product. Please keep in mind that requesting this proof will delay your order and adds a cost of $150. Once you receive the proof, you may request changes or decide that you do not wish to order the full run.
If you decide not to order, you may cancel only the full run - you will still be charged the setup fee and the production proof cost (at least $190).
If the total cost of your order is above $1000 and the first production proof meets your approval, then the cost of the production proof will be credited to your order.
This is your "in-hands date". This tells us when you need the order in your hands. If we see that the order cannot make it by the due date via the shipping method you choose, we will attempt to reach you by telephone or e-mail to discuss your options.
If you have chosen our Standard production timeframe, there is not a guaranteed ship date. If you have chosen our Rush Service, we will discount your order in the following ways:
1) Refund all Rush fees that you were charged
2) Refund 50% of the order total (excluding shipping and setup fees)
In production, there are an unlimited number of things that can prevent an order from shipping on time. If we fail to ship a Rush order on the posted ship date, we will not refund the complete order. We will, however, refund the above amount and give you our sincere apology. We try hard to meet each rush order deadline. While we are wildly successful at meeting custom rush order deadlines (over 98%), there are circumstances that prevent us from accomplishing that goal.
Also, we are not responsible once your order is handed to the shipping company. If we ship your order on time and the shipping company fails to deliver it, we will not give a refund.
